Archeogeophysical Researches

With the archaeological research excavations, many unknowns about the past are revealed by protecting our historical and cultural heritage. Archaeological excavations are carried out with long, painstaking and delicate excavations. It is very important to find out where and how to start excavations. At this point, within the scope of surface surveys, a very fast and wide area was investigated with Archaeogeophysical researches and the structures buried underground in that region; It provides a projection that will guide the excavation such as,;

        - The architectural structure of the wall, room, gallery,
        - How deep it is from the surface,
        - Whether the rooms are empty or full,
        - The depth of the base, and where cost calculations can be made by calculating the approximate project duration.

       Our Preferred Methods in Archaeogeophysical Research

     ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Archaeogeophysical researches are carried out at international standards by closely following the latest technological developments in the world with our professional staff with international experience. As a result of our on-site investigations in the research area, depending on the field conditions and research purpose;

-    Georadar - GPR

-    Mangnetic - Gradiometric,

-    2B / 3B ERT - ElecricMethod Tomography,

-    High Resolution Seismic Refraction Tomography

-    High Resolution Hybrid Seismic Technique,

After the quality control of the on-site data is ensured, we take care to obtain very high-resolution data in the field.

In addition to 2D cross-section, 3D Models, 3D Integrated analyses and floor maps are created, and structures that exhibit certain architectural features to the underground are mapped precisely with Geographic Information data.

Since 2002, many archaeological researches have been carried out successfully throughout the country, and some of them have been presented as scientific papers in National or International Archaeometry symposiums.
